a trip to the Hannah Carter Japanese Garden (UCLA) for Kim's B-day

We went to the Hannah Carter Japanese Gardens in Bel-Air this afternoon for Kim’s birthday.

The main pond was drained. During he frosts of the last week of December 2006, cracks developed which emptied it partially. The trauma brought on by water level changes, pH fluctuations, and an already comprised Koi population due to a viral infection the year previous, was fatal to 90% of them.

Local Koi associations unite! The Groundskeeper needs your help to safely bring a new Koi population into the pond. Please visit during their hours if you can help.
